Crystal Palace are currently in a difficult position, struggling in the bottom three of the Premier League table.

Oliver Glasner did well when he joined the Eagles in February this year, sparking new life into the Selhurst Park side’s campaign.

Crystal Palace ended the season with six wins from their last seven games, equalling their highest ever Premier League points tally of 49.

The Eagles also won four consecutive home games for the first time and finished in the top 10 for just the second time in the Premier League era.

However, Palace have not kicked on this season. The Eagles are yet to win in the league in 2024/25 and sit 18th with just three points on board.

GiveMeSport have now reported what the feeling around Palace is like, with regards to Glasner’s work at the helm of the club.

Crystal Palace players happy with Oliver Glasner

According to GiveMeSport, Glasner continues to have the backing of his players.

Palace sources have indicated that, internally, there are no issues for him to worry about right now.

The report says Palace’s players remain on board with the focus and intent of the boss, who is very firm in his beliefs about how Palace will turn the corner this season and start to move up the table.

Insiders apparently said Glasner is “very sure about his methods” and he has complete faith in his vision to build a solid team.

There is hope that the international break provides breathing space for Glasner to consider how to turn the team’s form around, added the report.

Glasner has what it takes to turn things around at Palace

Palace lost two key players in the summer transfer market in Michael Olise and Joachim Andersen, which has had an impact on the team.

In addition, Glasner has had to deal with numerous injuries, with the likes of Cheick Doucoure, Chris Richards, Matheus Franca and Chadi Riad all absent.

It’s good to hear that Palace aren’t planning to part company with Glasner just yet. He’s a great coach and he can surely turn things around as he did last season.
